ISKCON JABALPUR “Sri Sri Radha Raman Temple” is a charitable society with the objective of propagating Krishna Consciousness all over the world, as explained by Srila Prabhupada, whose teachings are based on Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. The objects of the society are derived from the Seven Purposes of ISKCON as stated by Srila Prabhupada.
In Jabalpur very first in 2013, the society was operating from a rented house in Jabalpur. In the year 2015, the leaders of the society received the land in donation to construct a grand temple and cultural complex. The land was donated by Sri Agrawal ji – a four-acre area, which was nothing but a huge piece of forest area that could not be converted into sites. . A temporary shed was constructed to set up a make-shift temple and the Deities of Sri Sri Radha Raman moved to this shed on AKSHAY TRITIYA in June 2016.
The original simple temple design started in year 2017 now from past year temple has two parallel halls to execute regular seva pooja and SUNDAY programs , festival celebration etc. H. G.
